How to care for your print
Your giclee print has been carefully produced using archival pigment and acid free paper to ensure lasting beauty. To help preserve it's quality, please follow handling steps.
- Always use clean, dry hands or wear cotton gloves when touching the print. Oils and moisture from the skin can affect the surface.
- Handle by the edges only. Avoid touching the printed area as much as possible, especially on dark or black pigment - these can show marks easily.
- Never bend or roll unless it has been packaged that way.
- Lay flat in a clean, dry space if you are not framing immediately. Keep away from direct sunlight, humidity, and dust.
Dark pigments
- Prints with deep black or rich dark colours are particularly vulnerable to scuffing or fingerprint marks. These areas are more delicate and can reveal subtle handling damage.
- Please avoid direct contact with the printed surface, especially in shadowed or high-contrast zones.
Framing
- Use acid-free materials when mounting and/or matting.
- If you are unsure, take it to a professional framer.
